And as you know, for me it sure ain't the KY Derby wannabes with the usual cast of one hit wonders in the making! Curlin, racing at 4, is finally able to prove that he not only had a very good year last year but may have some staying power as a mature race horse. Wouldn't that be a treat? Hats off to Mr Jess Jackson, the CA vintner who nailed the KY breeder/auction crooks and now seems determined to campaign a true handicap division horse.
