A year over year comparison to last year's fall meet can be made. Lets focus on Belmont- NYRA would like to announce attendance on the following days- Belmont Day, fathers day- Stars & Stripes, Jockey Club Gold Cup. All the others days they would like to ignore. Look, I go to the track to Bet- not buy expensive food. If I use NYRA rewards all NYRA gets from me is my $5 admission if I go to the track instead of betting at home.Dannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-43782998813673979742014-10-02T11:25:01.597-04:002014-10-02T11:25:01.597-04:00Hey Dan -

However, first of all, as you said, announce the change instead to being so secretive and un-transparent. And, it's kind of contradictory with the whole "big day" strategy, which is specifically aimed at getting more people out to the races. Or so they've said.Alan Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12570505944559196118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-2796024391507974952014-10-02T10:53:10.747-04:002014-10-02T10:53:10.747-04:00JK- I believe NYRA is not giving out daily attenda...JK- I believe NYRA is not giving out daily attendance for the following reasons- They want to get away from how many people go to the track & focus more on handle. The media always focuses on attendance. NYRA should announce this change of procedure.Dannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-18235289762738910012014-10-02T10:42:52.206-04:002014-10-02T10:42:52.206-04:00We must conclude the increase in admission prices ...We must conclude the increase in admission prices was a disaster leading to bulk sales of season passes at the Spa and not reporting attendance numbers at Belmont where there are no season pass sales to gloss over the declines.jknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-137277912006816262014-10-02T10:18:12.779-04:002014-10-02T10:18:12.779-04:00Teresa interesting, thanks, but they don't bre...Teresa interesting, thanks, but they don't break out the Spa Revenues.
