In all of those years there has never been a more important issue to all of you than the VLT program. When operational the VLT program will pump millions of dollars into purses, capital improvements and your breeders awards. Without the program becoming operational this year the consequences will be dire. The awards program has already suffered very substantial reductions due to handle loss in 2008 and 2009 resulting in a decrease in awards to you.<br /> <br />The only relief is for VLT's to become operational this year. Failure to do so will result in further reductions in awards to you - the breeders and owners in New York State. Your participation on July 27th at noon will send a clear message to the leadership of our state. Please make the sacrifice of your time to bring as many stake holders as you can to this event.
