Don't know if there's really enough room for something like that, but the point is that I think it would have to be something more than a hotel with a shopping mall and Jackie Mason performing to be a true "destination" spot.Alan Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12570505944559196118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-19105739939156531992008-10-28T16:46:00.000-04:002008-10-28T16:46:00.000-04:00How about a Disneyland type family theme park, or ...How about a Disneyland type family theme park, or something like Hershey park in PA or something Six Flags would do? Plenty of room, a hotel(s) would be needed and people might even say, "Geez, there's a horse racing track next door. i never knew that. Let's have a look and see what's going on" VLT's are a "dumb" man's game, a sucker play, (ka-ching for the state though)so have plenty of other things around to accomodate families and make coming to the site an entertainment option for all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8711985.post-50403731059836967422008-10-28T14:54:00.000-04:002008-10-28T14:54:00.000-04:00Are VLTs alone enough for a hotel? If so, why on earth would they go to Elmont over, say, the Catskills or Connecticut? Anyone that would be drawn to slot machines at Belmont would be a day tripper, not an overnight guest.El Angelohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14145024095815950963noreply@blogger.com
