I can't tell you how much I miss Bay Meadows. It was always hard work on the backstretch in the mornings and a long day if you had a horse in the last race. <BR/><BR/>Pretty soon you were staggering around tired but happy if your horse made it in the top four.<BR/><BR/>Washing horses with soap and water, then running a squeegee over the coat to get most of the water off the horse.
