Well, I guess the track is fast. Wildcat Shoes zipped a half in :43 4/5 en route to a win in 1:08 flat.
Frank Lyons keeps killing off Afleet Alex's breeder when he tells the story of the lemonade stand and all that. In fact, as I posted a couple of days ago, he's defied his doctors' prognoses and is still alive and at the race today.
