Two of these winners, Bar City and Hussonfirst, were also making their debut. Influential is by River Keen out of a mare by Roy, and has a Tomlinson rating of 211.

Yeah and Hurricane Annie was taking a big class jump off a 6 month layoff and had never tried grass or the distance. The spot was so odd, it almost tempted me to bet her (if you know what I mean...)...but alas, I let her go and she killed my win3. (I suppose you could argue she was 'bet down' but at 11-1 or so off a 20-1 line, I didn't view that as significant).
