Iffy Filly

Sounds to me as if the Belmont Stakes is going to be filly-less.

A source at Churchill told The Post, "It they do decide to go [in the Belmont], it'll be [Jackson's] decision. She came out of the Preakness pretty knocked out. Steve [Asmussen, her trainer] wants no part of the Belmont. She'd be a classic bet-against."[NY Post]

If RA did run would that cut into ESPN's continuing coverage of the Michael Vick saga?

MTB's connections must be sure RA is not running or they would not be sitting on their hands waiting for Borel while all the other big race riders are commiting elsewhere.

Desormeaux on Summer Bird is interesting, very positive rider change.

Her breeze today was uninspiring, Jackson had press conferance scheduled but he would not commit so logical to assume trainer does not want to run.

Question to Anonymous---I know there are fans of Desormeaux out there,(of which I am not), but so I don't put my head in the sand, please educate me with regard to what you like about him?--- To me, he more often than not, gives up on a Horse if everything is not falling his way, and most importantly, he gets caught at the wire not paying attention the last 100 yards of the race---race

Well, Desormeaux's a mile better than whoever on earth Chris Rosier is.
