great beach weather though.
I had a rough day at the GP. Had Aaron's Rod and Cowboy Cal singled in the 6th and 7th respectively over four horses in the 9th and 10th. Rough beat with Cowboy Cal and Velazquez not being able to reign him in.
Anybody else think though that JV gave up on Cowboy Cal inside the eighth pole. He pretty much conceded the race to Why Tonto when it was still close.
That being said a $500 P4 would have been nice. I have been ice cold recently.
highland cat was a great price. sharp win
The great thing about Highland Cat is that you can race him a couple of times a week and he gets better.
If that race was anywhere but on the lightning-fast GP turf course, it would look like a very big effort by Highland Cat.
Disappointed in Control System in the Barbara Frichie. I don't think she took to the Laurel track very well.
