To anyone who is interested in watching Curlin's race (if you can call it that...more of a 1 1/4 workout) it is posted here:

Did albarado move a muscle that whole time? I can't find the splits anywhere, but I'm sure there will be a place to post them sooner or later. All I know is the final time was 2:00.60. Not bad for an afternoon jog.

One shake of the reins! Not a tough field but Curlin looked fine nonetheless.

Props to Robby Albarado on that race for being such a cool customer and exercising such restraint. He easily could've asked for a bit more in the stretch and won by a far larger margin. Plenty of jocks would've soaked up the razzle dazzle and done just that.

The camera angle at that course in the final stretch always makes it feel like the finish comes up much shorter. That is until they pull back and you see how much runway is left.

How far were they off the rail up the backstretch? It was starting to look like Spectacular Bid's forced position in the Preakness ;>
