- The pro-slots group Maryland For Our Future has raised some $4.4 million as opposed to $570,773 for Marylanders United to Stop Slots. Nonetheless, the opponents, scrappy as these anti-slots groups tend to be, have managed to get a TV commercial on the air.
Not bad, decent production values, good slick fast-talker type character. But the polls are grim for the opponents, the money disadvantage is daunting, and it's not a good sign when you read headlines like Anti-slots rally draws dozens.....oops, wrong link. Once again, Alan, I need to offer my profound gratitude for providing such critical and essential information. I had never heard of Beer Pong. This is fantastic! They even have official Beer Pong gear! I'm sure that someway, somehow, I should be able to incorporate this extraordinary news into a future blog entry!
