- A 93 for Dominican and Street Sense in the Blue Grass. I think you gotta take that number with a grain of salt considering the absurdly slow pace. They dashed home pretty quickly to earn the final time that they did, and there's a limit to how fast they can close no matter what the pace was.
Curlin got a 103 for the Arkansas Derby. He had earned a 101 in his debut, and a 97 for the Rebel.

Andy Beyer has a good Article up in the washington post today about the blue grass and polytrack etc.....He doesn't like it, and neither do I
Greg - Thanks for pointing that out. It's a very good article, though I don't know if I agree with every point. But here it is and I'll be back to comment when I have a chance.
93? While the time was slow so were the other races, I thought.
Wonder what the "sheets" gave Dominican?
In general, wonder what the "sheets" think of this class a whole. The Beyers have been unimpressive as pointed out by Crist, are the sheet numbers bad also.
Noted today that not one contender has managed to Beyer 100+ twice going more than a mile as a 3yo. Curlin doubled up at 7f.
Bizarre.
