Alan, if you have walked up and down the beach, I'm sure you have seen the great extent to which some of the property owners have gone to in order to shore up the bluff. In some areas, however, you can see part of a patio or deck just hanging out in mid air. When you walk or drive down the street side, you can see that these properties have been condemned. I have always wondered if they were covered by homeowners insurance and if these folks got compensation
which certainly would be substantial based on the asking prices of some of the homes currently on the market.
