Alan, enjoy it while you can, the Rangers haven't been much to cheer about for...gee...I can't remember when? And hard to believe for this lifelong Bruins fan but, if I am not mistaken, the B's did not win a game against the Rangers this year? Oh, the horror! Sad state of affairs on Causeway St in Beantown. Time for new ownership, way overdue in fact, Buffalo-based Delaware North just won't make the commitment required to make it in this hockey-crazed burg where the B's always sold out the Gaaaden while finishing out of the playoffs, and the mighty Celtics would win a title every year and still play before 5,000 fans. Yup,time for Delaware North to call it a day in Boston.
Delaware North is another Empire partner, as you probably know. I know that B's fans have been unhappy with them for some time. It's going to be a quiet building there this spring...and no playoff revenue is not a good thing. But aren't the teams owned personally by the CEO of Delaware North rather than being properties of the company itself, or am I wrong about that?
