Wow!

Discreet Cat was a blur even in the paddock before the race

Alan,

I have felt for months that Discreet Cat is the BEST horse in the world. He's a freak, plain and simple. How often is is it that the best horse in America, even the world, will not win an Eclipse. In fact, will he even be nominated?

Alan,

As for the best female horse in the world, Ouija Board, take a look at these numbers.......

The win pool (U.S.) for the $4 million-plus Japan Cup Stakes on the turf totaled $41,696.

How much was placed on Ouija Board to win? $8,075.

Deep Impact went off the favorite here, too, at 4-5. Slightly more than $15,000 on him in the win pool.

Ouija Board finished third, Deep Impact won.......(Assuming he passes his post-race test).
